Success for all participants

“All the words I had planned to say were already said upstairs at the conference. So I'll just cut it short" the Crown Prince of Denmark said with a smile, as he cut the red ribbon and opened what would turn out to be three exciting days at Copenhagen Offshore Wind 05.

With more than 1000 delegates participating during the three days of sessions, the conference was a huge success. The huge turn up for the conference gave the exhibitors value for money. Many of the exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the quality and relevance of the guests in the exhibition halls and were willing to book their exhibition stand for 2007 instantly.

The presence of CEO’s, decision makers and every key person in this business attracted a true crowd of media people to Copenhagen. More than 80 members of the press from 13 different countries gave excellent coverage and exposure world wide.

 

High quality at COW 05

More than 1000 delegates took advantage of the high level-programme in Copenhagen. Being a first time-event the organizers of COW 05 are extremely happy with the attendance.

 

“With the synergy created between the high level-conference and the exhibition I feel confident, that we have moved the offshore wind industry in the right direction”, says Bjarne Lundager Jensen, managing director of the Danish Wind Industry Association.

 

The evaluation of the event shows that most delegates and exhibitors got their expectations more than satisfied.

 

“COW is not just another wind power fair. It is focused on offshore wind only and everything that relates to that and I guarantee that we will once again in 2007 have a world class conference ready. With the extremely positive feed-back we have received from delegates and exhibitors, we are looking forward to take further steps to improve both conference and the exhibition,” says Bjarne Lundager Jensen.
